32nd Koprivnica Town Run
Around 400 runners took part in last year's flat and fast races through the streets of Koprivnica, a town of 25,000 inhabitants in northern Croatia, close to the border with Hungary.
Most popular are the children's races whereas the 5.6k (men) and the 3.4k (women) usually have relatively few participants - although there are no entry fees but plenty of prizes.
Starting and finishing on Zrinski trg, Koprivnica's large and attractive main square, the route runs through the public park and the town centre. Men run five laps and women run three laps.
In 2009, the top finishers, Zsolt Benedek and Lívia Tóth, both came from Hungary.
