14th "Half Marathon Jaska" 2012
Jastrebarsko (Croatia), Sunday 20 May 2012
The Polumaraton Jaska ("Half Marathon Jaska") is held on a very scenic and very hilly rural course in Croatia. Start and finish are in the town of Jastrebarsko (also called "Jaska"), located approximately 40 kilometres south-west of Zagreb.
Participants run up and down the lower slopes of the lovely Žumberak-Samobor Hills (Žumberak-Samoborsko gorje). The first half of the course is mostly uphill and the second half downhill but there are several short steep climbs in between.
The race is entirely on asphalt roads.
Last year, the fastest half marathon finishers were Đuro Komlenović (1:21:02) and Marija Vrajić (1:37:16).
