The Jaskanski polumaraton (or Polumaraton Jaska) is a road running event held annually in the spring in Croatia.
It offers a 5k race, a 10k and a half marathon, starting and finishing in the town of Jastrebarsko (or "Jaska") which is located about 35 kilometres south-west of the city centre of Zagreb.
The half marathon route is very challenging as it takes the runners up and down the lower slopes of the Žumberak Mountains.
The first half of the race is mostly uphill and the second half downhill but there are also several short steep climbs in between.
From start to finish, the course features approximately 300 metres of ascent and 300 metres of descent.
