Graz Mur Half Marathon 2009

This is the major spring running event in Austria's second biggest city.

Start and finish are at a small football stadium in an industrial part of Graz, located about 2.5km south of the city centre.

You run partly on traffic-free roads but mostly on cycle lanes and footpaths along both banks of the River Mur. Some shorter sections are not asphalted, and you have to cross two narrow bridges. Apart from that, the course is very fast.

Those who decide to take part in the supporting 10k race run two laps of 5km.
