Übersbach spring run
The Frühlingslauf is the first race of the CERR-Cup, the Central European Region Running Cup, which is a series of ten races in the Austria-Hungary-Slovenia border region. Accordingly, the race is very popular with Hungarians and Slovenes. Last year, 38 Hungarians and 14 Slovenes travelled to the small place of Übersbach to run 7km on a rural course towards the spa town of Loipersdorf and back.
For the first time, there will also be a half marathon in the morning. However, the main race is the 7km run in the afternoon. All runners get a free ticket for the thermal pools in Loipersdorf. These are open until 21.00 so there's still plenty of time for a nice bath in the evening.
