The Südtiroler Nostalgielauf is a running event in Italy's autonomous province of Südtirol (Italian: Alto Adige) where the majority of the inhabitants speak German as a first language.

The race is 5.5 kilometres long and downhill, with 115 metres of elevation loss from start to finish.

Starting in Kalditsch (Doladizza), participants run along a disused railway track to the finish line in the village of Montan (Montagna) which sits on a terrace above the Adige Valley (pictured).

As far as we know, the event was last held on 23 May 2009.

Seventy-six men and thirty-seven women completed the course.
