The Košice-Miskolc Ultramarathon is open to individual runners and relay teams of two, five or ten runners.
The route, which alternates in direction each year, is 116 kilometres long and connects the twin towns of Košice in Slovakia (pictured above) and Miskolc in Hungary (pictured below).
In 2025, the race will begin in Miskolc and finish in Košice.
The race is run mainly on public roads and cycleways. A few sections are on gravel.
The time limit to complete the course is 15 hours for individual runners and 14 hours for relay teams.
