The Košice-Miskolc Ultramarathon is open to individual runners and relay teams of two, five or ten runners.
Starting in the city centre of Košice in Slovakia (pictured above) and ending in the city centre of Miskolc in Hungary (pictured below), the route is 117 kilometres long and undulating with approximately 600 metres of ascent and 700 metres of descent.
The race is run mainly on public roads and cycleways. A few sections are on gravel.
The time limit to complete the course is 15 hours for individual runners and 14 hours for relay teams.
