RUN Kassel (formerly known as ‘Nachtlauf Kassel’) is a running event held annually on a Friday night in the summer in Kassel, a city of about 200,000 people in Germany's state of Hessen (Hesse).

Three races are available: 1km kids run, 5km and 10km.

The 5k is two laps and the 10k is four laps of a 2.5km-long loop course that takes the runners across two vast squares in the city centre—the circular Königsplatz, where the races start and finish, and the 340m-long Friedrichsplatz, which is home to the Fridericianum, one of Europe's oldest museum buildings (pictured).

Instead of a bib number, participants get a T-shirt which they must wear during the race.

According to our information, the event was last held on 23 August 2019.
