The Polumaraton Topusko (‘Half Marathon Topusko’) is a road running event held in a beautiful rural region in Croatia, far away from any main tourist routes.
The race is two laps of an undulating course which begins and ends at the Top-Terme Topusko, a spa resort with thermal indoor and outdoor pools, situated on the edge of the village of Topusko.
In addition to the half marathon, the event offers a 6k race.
Free entry to the spa is included in the registration fees.
Located about eighty kilometres from Zagreb and just ten kilometres from the border with Bosnia, Topusko is in an area that suffered badly during the Croatian War of Independence (1991-1995).
