Held annually in the Weinviertel, Austria's largest wine-producing region, the Weintraubenlauf (‘Grape Run’) features races for all levels of athletes:
- 500m-1km-1.9km kids' races
- 1.9km fun run
- 5km run, walking, nordic walking
- 10km
All races begin and end on the football pitch of Ruppersthal, a little village located fifty kilometres north-west of Vienna.
The 5k is one lap and the 10k is two laps on asphalt and gravel roads through the village and through vineyards and fields. The course is undulating and scenic.
