The Mondseelauf, a running event in the Salzkammergut region in Austria, offers:
- Kinder- und Jugendlauf (children's races)
- 5km Lauf (5k run)
- 10km Lauf (10k run)
- 21.1km Halbmarathon (half marathon)
All races begin and end on Marktplatz in the small town of Mondsee, which sits at the northern tip of the Mondsee lake.
The half marathon features an undulating route that takes the participants along the shore of the lake and through rural areas, mostly on asphalt roads. The difference between the lowest and the highest point on the course is about 35 metres.
