Trenčín (Slovakia), Saturday 20 May 2017
This Night Run is held in Trenčín, an old town of about 56,000 people, situated in the Váh River Valley in western Slovakia.
The route is a 7.57km loop that takes the runners through the town centre, through residential areas in the southern part of Trenčín, and along the river.
Usually, the race begins and ends on Mierové námestie, the picturesque main square. In 2017, however, due to reconstruction works on the square, the start and the finish will be at Trenčín Castle which towers high above the Old Town (pictured).
Last year, the race had 439 finishers.
