Wien (Austria), Sunday 27 August 2017
Provided that it's not too hot on the day of the race (temperatures can be rather high in Vienna at the end of August), the Augartenlauf offers a fine opportunity to clock a fast time over the 5km or the 10km distance — or over the 1,000 metres if you were born in 2004 or later.
The 2.5km-long race course through the Augarten, the oldest Baroque park in the city, is very flat and scenic.
