Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy), Sunday 23 April 2017

The Marcia del Mare is a non-competitive event for runners and hikers of all ages and abilities, held in the seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro in the Gulf of Venice in northern Italy.

Three flat routes are on offer, approximately 7km, 13km and 25km long.

Participants run or walk on mixed terrain (beach, asphalt, trails, ...) through the resort, through pine forests, along the estuary of the River Tagliamento and along the shore of the Adriatic Sea.

Every year, the event attracts well over 1,000 participants.
