The Tek po vinski cesti ("Run along the Wine Road") begins and ends in the village of Bušeča vas which sits in the lovely Krka River Valley in Slovenia's Dolenjska region.
The route is 9.65km long and hilly with 175m of elevation change.
Competitors run through farmland, vineyards and villages, mostly on asphalt roads.
The event also offers a 1.72km run, children's races and a guided walk.
Last year, 179 runners took part in the event. The fastest finishers in the 9.65km race were Bojan Vidmar (37min 2sec) and Marjeta Stržinar (42min 27sec).
