Frankfurt am Main (Germany), Sunday 29 May 2016
Held in the city centre of Frankfurt am Main, Germany's fifth-largest city with a population of about 700,000 people, this Stadtlauf features a 5k and a 10k race.
The 5k is one lap and the 10k is two laps of a flat out-and-back course.
The route runs along Frankfurt's main shopping street (die Zeil), along the River Main, and past the skyscrapers of the Bankenviertel — one of the world's leading financial centres, appropriately nicknamed "Mainhattan" (pictured).
Instead of a bib number, participants get a technical T-shirt which they must wear during the race.
In 2015, more than 1,400 runners took part in the two races combined.
