Trnava (Slovakia), Monday 26 December 2016
The Zimný beh zdravia is the first race of the Trnavská bežecká trilógia, a series of three running events that are held every winter on 26 December, 1 January and 6 January in the town of Trnava in western Slovakia.
You can choose between two race distances — 3.9km or 10km.
The 3.9km race is three laps and the 10km race is eight laps of a flat course through the športový areál AŠK Slávia Trnava, a vast complex of sports facilities, situated at the northern edge of Trnava's Old Town.
The races are run on a mix of asphalt and trails, or on snow and ice!
The second race of the Trilogy, the Trnavský novoročný beh, will be held on New Year's Day 2017. The final race, the Trojkráľová šestka, will take place on Epiphany.
