Almost 200 runners took part in last year's Běh na Svatý Hostýn, a hill running event in Moravia in the eastern part of the Czech Republic.

Starting on the main square of the small town of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, which sits at the foot of the wooded Hostýnské vrchy hills, the race features 422m of ascent over a 5km route.

The finish line is at an elevation of 735m on the hilltop of Svatý Hostýn, a Marian pilgrimage destination with a basilica (pictured) and an observation tower on top.

The race is run on mixed terrain (cobbles, asphalt and trails).

In 2015, the winners were Ondřej Horák (22min 10sec) and Marie Delingerová (27min 49sec).
