The Bratislava Marathon is Slovakia's largest running event. Held annually over two days in spring, it offers races for runners of all ages:

Participants in the full marathon run two laps of a mostly flat course which begins and ends at the the Eurovea Galleria shopping mall on the River Danube, approximately 1.5km to the east of Bratislava's old town.

The time limit to complete the course is 90 minutes for the 10k race, three hours for the half marathon and five hours for the full marathon.

Start/finish area: Eurovea Galleria, Pribinova Street (ca. 1.5km east of the city centre)

Entries: online (up to 18 March 2016); late entries up to 2 April 2016; no entries on the day; race limit: 1500 runners (4.2km), 1500 runners (10km), 400 relay teams

• 10km: € 12/16/20
• 21km: € 27/32/37
• 42km: € 32/37/42
• 21km relay: € 70/80/90 per team

Timekeeping: VOS-TPK chip timng (included in the entry fees)

You get: pasta party (on Saturday), snacks and drinks on the course and at the finish, finisher medal; entrants can order a technical T-shirt for € 18
