Pfaffstätten-Mödling (Austria), Sunday 6 September 2015
The Weinstraßenlauf (‘Wine Road Run’) features a very undulating and scenic 10km point-to-point route through a lovely wine-producing region near Austria's capital Vienna.
Starting in the village of Pfaffstätten (approximately 25km south of Vienna's city centre), the route runs northwards through vineyards and the pretty village of Gumpoldskirchen to the finish line in the town of Mödling (ca. 15km from Vienna).
Last year's Weinstraßenlauf had 222 finishers. The winners were Mario Weiß (33:46) and Monika Kalbacher (43:08).
