This mountain running event in Slovenia's capital city Ljubljana features a short (1.8km) but very tough uphill course (360m of elevation gain).
Starting at the foot of Šmarna gora (pictured), participants run on steep hiking trails to the finish line at the monastery that stands on top of the hill (669m).
The race is run in time trial format, with runners going off at 30-second intervals.
The course records are held by the world-class mountain runners Azerya Teklay of Eritrea (11min 11sec) and Mateja Kosovelj of Slovenia (13min 18sec).
