Gemona del Friuli (Italy), Sunday 6 December 2015
The Cjaminade di Sante Lussie is a wonderful non-competitive amateur sports event which attracts 800 or more runners and hikers every year.
Three highly scenic routes are available (7km, 14km, and 21km long), starting and finishing in Gemona del Friuli, a picturesque old town that sits at the foot of the Julian Alps in the Friuli area in the north-east of Italy.
All routes are very challenging as they run on roads and trails up and down the alpine foothills.
Participants can start at any time between 9am and 10am, and they can still decide on the course which route they want to take.
