This City Run offers a flat and fast 10k race through Trnava, a very pleasant town of about 66,000 people, situated 50km from Slovakia's capital Bratislava.

The start and the finish are on Trinity square (pictured) in the heart of the Old Town.

Participants run through the historic centre with its many awe-inspiring churches, along the medieval town walls, through residential areas, and around the former cukrovar, a sugar refinery which operated for 159 years until 2004 and which is home to a 112m-high stack.

The time limit to finish the race is 90 minutes.
