The Tek po vinski cesti ("Run along the Wine Road") follows a hilly and very scenic 9.65km route around the village of Bušeča vas which sits in the lovely Krka River Valley in Slovenia's Dolenjska region.

Competitors run through farmland, vineyards, and villages, mostly on asphalt roads.

The event also offers a 1.72km run, children's races, and a guided walk.

Last year, the event welcomed over 200 participants. The fastest finishers in the 9.65km race were Bojan Vidmar (37:32) and Marjeta Stržinar (46:23).
