Held in the Altstadt of Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, capital of Austria's state of Kärnten, the Klagenfurter Altstadtlauf attracts a crowd of more than 700 runners.
Starting and finishing on Neuer Platz in Klagenfurt's pretty Old Town, the event offers a 5k and a 10k run as well as a number of children's races.
The 5k is two laps and the 10k is four laps of a flat and traffic-free 2.5km-loop course.
