6th Sava Half Marathon 2014
Zagreb (Croatia), Sunday 6 April 2014
The Savski polumaraton in Croatia's capital Zagreb offers a 5k run and a half marathon.
Starting and finishing on the embankment of the River Sava (about 3.5km from the city centre), both races are very scenic runs along the river, almost entirely on trails.
The route goes upstream (past Lake Jarun) to the western city limits, and then back along the opposite embankment.
Last year, over 300 runners took part in the event. The top half marathon finishers were Krešo Babić (1:21:43) and Marija Vrajić (1:27:37).
