The Citylauf Dresden offers a 10km race, a 5km run, and children's races.

The 10km route is two gently undulating loops around the Altstadt of Dresden, capital of the state of Saxony and home to a great number of architectural masterpieces.

In 2013, over 1200 runners took part in the 10k. The fastest finishers were Germany's Falk Cierpinski (31min 10sec) and Lisabeth Wagner (36min 16sec).
