Munich (Germany), Sunday 6 July 2014
The Bavarian Run offers two races (6km and 11km) through the Olympiapark in Munich, capital of Germany's state of Bavaria.
Created for the Olympic Games 1972, the park is home to a large number of sports venues, including the magnificent Olympic Stadium.
The 6k is one lap, and the 11k is two laps (6km + 5km). The route is undulating and mostly on asphalt.
All participants get a technical T-shirt which they must wear during the race.
Last year, more than 800 runners took part in the event.
