13th Ormož Half Marathon 2014
Ormož (Slovenia), Saturday 19 April 2014
The Ormoški Mali Maraton in Slovenia features a half marathon, a 10k race, a 5k run, and children's races.
All races begin and end on the athletics track of Ormož, a small town on the Slovenia-Croatia border, situated on a terrace above the River Drava.
The route is a gently undulating out-and-back course on country roads along the Lešnica valley, which runs from Ormož northwards through the picturesque Slovenske gorice hills.
Around 220 runners took part in the event last year. The half marathon winners were Zoran Žilić of Croatia (1:15:11) and Slovenia's multiple marathon champion Daneja Grandovec (1:28:51).
