The Marcia del Mare is a non-competitive event for fun runners and hikers of all ages and abilities, held in the seaside resort of Lignano Sabbiadoro in the Gulf of Venice in northern Italy.

Participants can start at any time between 8.30am and 9.30am, and they can decide on the course which distance they want to run (or walk) — 6km, 14km, or 25km.

The route runs on flat and varied terrain through the resort and through pine forests, along the estuary of the River Tagliamento, and on the beach along the Adriatic Sea.
