Pardubický vinařský půlmaraton 2014
This half marathon race in the Czech Republic draws well over 1,000 runners to Pardubice, an industrial city of 90,000 people, situated in a low-lying area on the River Elbe, about 100 kilometres east of Prague.
The course consists of three laps, starting just outside Pardubice's Old Town.
At the end of the race, competitors run on cobbles through the imposing 16th-century ‘Green Gate’ to the finish line on the magnificent Pernštejn Square.
