Lübeck (Germany), Sunday 29 September 2013
This Citylauf attracts a crowd of about 1000 runners to the old Hanseatic merchant city of Lübeck, which is located near the Baltic Sea in northern Germany.
The event offers an 11.3km race (two and a half laps), a 5.2km run (three laps), and a 1.8km children's race (one lap).
The 11.3km race features an undulating course through and around Lübeck's Old Town — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the route is on asphalt roads but some sections are on cobbles or on gravel paths.
In 2012, the top finishers were Dennis Mehlfeld (35:20) and Anke Tiedemann (43:47).
