Halbmarathon München 2013
Munich (Germany), Sunday 5 May 2013
The Halbmarathon München in the city of Munich features a half marathon, a 10km race, a 5km fun run, and children's races.
Starting and finishing at the Olympic Stadium (pictured), competitors run 5km loops through the Olympiapark, which was built for the Olympic Games 1972, and which is home to a large number of sports venues.
The half marathon is four laps and a 1.1km loop at the end. The course is undulating, certified, traffic-free, and entirely on asphalt.
Last year, more than 1000 runners took part in the half marathon. Overall, the event had around 1800 participants.
