68. Běh Lužánkami 2013
Brno (Czech Republic), Saturday 16 March 2013
The Běh Lužánkami is a running event with a long tradition, held every year since 1946 in Brno, the Czech Republic's second-largest city.
Women run 6.4km (four laps), and men run 8km (five laps). The route is a 1.6km loop on footpaths through Lužánky, which is the oldest urban public park in the country, and home to a wide variety of domestic and exotic trees.
Over the years, the event has attracted a large number of strong distance runners. In 2012, around 400 runners from eight countries took part in the races. The fastest finishers came from Hungary — Zita Kácser and László Tóth.
