The Citylauf Dresden offers a 10km race, a 3.3km fun run, and children's races.

The new 10km route is two loops around the Altstadt of Dresden, capital of the state of Saxony and home to a great number of architectural masterpieces.

In 2012, over 1600 runners took part in the event. The 10k winners were Dutch athlete Dennis Licht (30min 30sec) and Beáta Rakoncsai of Hungary (36min 20sec).
