35th "Gorizia Half Marathon" 2013
Gorizia (Italy), Sunday 3 March 2013
The Maratonina Città di Gorizia features a gently undulating, traffic-free and certified half marathon course through two countries — Italy and Slovenia.
The start and finish are in Gorizia, a pleasant border town of about 35,000 people in the north-east of Italy. Approximately half of the route runs through the small towns of Nova Gorica and Šempeter in Slovenia.
In 2012, over 700 runners completed the half marathon and several hundred took part in the non-competitive 7k fun run.
