14th ‘Štanjel Run’ 2013

The Štanjelski tek is held annually in December on the Karst Plateau in the Primorska region in western Slovenia.

Last year, over 200 runners from Slovenia and nearby Italy completed the race.

The route is 9km on undulating gravel roads through forests near Štanjel, a fortified hilltop village with a castle, terraced gardens, and many picturesque stone houses.
