24th ‘Old Town Advent Run Mödling’ 2013
Mödling (Austria), Sunday 1 December 2013
The Altstadt Adventlauf offers a 5.2km and a 10.5km run through the very pretty Altstadt (Old Town) of Mödling, which is situated at the foot of the Wienerwald hills, just about 16km from the city centre of Austria's capital Vienna.
Last year, the event welcomed approximately 900 runners.
The 5.2km route consists of two laps whereas the 10.5km race is four laps.
After the race, many runners use the occasion to warm up with a cup of mulled wine on the Adventmarkt (Christmas market) in the festively decorated Old Town.
