8th 'Mursko Središće Town Run' 2013

The Utrka grada Mursko Središće offers a 10km road race and a 2.6km town run.
The start and finish are at the football pitch of the small town of Mursko Središće, situated on the River Mura in the extreme north of Croatia.
Slovenia is on the other side of the river, and Hungary is also just ten kilometres away.
The area is unspectacular but very charming with rolling hills and vineyards to the west, low-lying farmland to the east, green dikes along the Mura, and three thermal spas in three different countries nearby.
The 10k is a flat out-and-back course on a country road through the agricultural area to the east of Mursko Središće.
The entry fees are low, there are plenty of small prizes, and all participants get a meal after the race.
