9. Balaton maraton és félmaraton 2012
Siófok (Hungary), 17+18 November 2012
Around 2,500 runners took part in last year's Balaton Marathon and Half Marathon which is held every year in November in the resort of Siófok on the southern shore of Balaton, Central Europe's largest lake.
The event offers three races:

These can be combined in all sorts of ways. You could, for instance, run a half marathon in two stages (14+7km) or a full marathon in three stages (14+7+21km).
The course is very pleasant as it takes the runners along the lakeside promenade and along Siófok's tree-lined avenues.
