The start of the 30K race is in Belluno on the southern edge of the Dolomites.
This 30km point-to-point road running race in the Veneto region in northern Italy features a scenic and challenging route along the Piave River Valley.
The start is in the ancient town of Belluno, which sits at the foot of the Eastern Dolomites, around 100km north of Venice. The finish is in the hill-top town of Feltre.
Participants run on undulating asphalt roads through a number of villages on the southern slopes of the valley. The route is accurately measured and certified.
Entrants to the 30K race must provide a valid medical certificate at registration. Runners don't need it, however, for the 30K non-competitive run (without time-keeping) or for the 3x10km relay race, which both start five minutes after the main race.
Last year, over 1000 runners took part in the event. The top 30K finishers were Said Boudalia (1:36:32) and Deborah Toniolo (1:51:35)
Remember that the night before the event the clocks jump one hour forward due to the start of 'European Summer Time', so don't be late!
