The Kamenjski kros is the second of four small cross-country running events that are held over the winter months in Slovenia's Mediterranean Primorska region.

The event is staged on the edge of the village of Kamnje, which is situated on the northern slopes of the fruit- and wine-growing Vipava Valley.

Participants run several undulating loops around vineyards and woods.

The distance depends on the age of the competitor:

  • 4km: juniors (born 1993-1996)
  • 6km: men (born 1966 and older); women (born 1992 and older)
