Gemona del Friuli (Italy), Sunday 9 December 2012
The Cjaminade di Sante Lussie is a wonderful fun running and hiking event, held annually in December in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in the north-east of Italy.
Participants can choose to run or walk either 7km, 14km, or 21km on roads and trails around the town of Gemona del Friuli, situated where the Friulian Plain meets the Julian Alps. The nearest city is Udine, which is about 25 kilometres to the south.
Entries on the day are just € 2.50. Participants can start at any time between 9.30am and 10.00am, and they can still decide on the course which route they want to take. All routes are very hilly and exceptionally scenic.
