23rd "Old Town Advent Run Mödling" 2012

The Altstadt Adventlauf offers a 5.2k and a 10.5k run through Mödling, a very pretty town at the foot of the Wienerwald hills, about 16 kilometres south of Vienna's city centre. Over 800 runners took part in the event last year.

Competitors run through Mödling's Altstadt (Old Town) and through residential areas.

The 5.2km route consists of one short loop and one long loop, whereas the 10.5km race features one short loop and three long loops.

After the race, many runners use the occasion to warm up with a cup of mulled wine on the Adventmarkt (Christmas market) in the festively decorated Old Town.
