Malente (Germany), Sunday 12 August 2012
Participants in the Diekseelauf run an 11.5-kilometre loop around the Dieksee, situated in the lakeland region of Holsteinische Schweiz in the far north of Germany.
The start/finish area is on the Diekseepromenade in the resort of Malente.
The route is a mix of trails and roads through woods and lovely rolling countryside and through the very pretty village of Timmdorf.
