34th "Up and Down the Bridges of Venice" 2012

Su e Zo per i Ponti is a major event in the Venetian calendar. Around 10,000 to 15,000 runners and walkers take part in this non-competitive sports event every year.

Starting and finishing on Piazza San Marco in the heart of Venice, the route is a 13km-loop which crosses 56 bridges.

Results and finishing times are not recorded but every finisher receives a medal, and prizes are awarded to the largest groups.

The entry fees are 6 euros. All profits will be donated to charity.
