This half marathon in Italy's northernmost province of Alto Adige ("South Tyrol") features a flat and fast course through the vast apple orchards in the Adige River Valley.

Start is in the small town of Laives (German: Leifers), located around 10 kilometres to the south of the city of Bolzano. The finish is in the village of Bronzolo (Branzoll), approximately 4 kilometres from the start.

The route is a single loop, which crosses the River Adige and the 'Autostrada del Brennero' twice.

In 2010, the winners were Yuri Floriani (1:07:20) and Sonia Lopes (1:22:48).

Race distance: 21.1km (IAAF-certified)

Start: 9.30 in Laives/Leifers, zona sportiva "Galizia"

Finish: Bronzolo/Branzoll (approximately 4km from the start)

Entries: online, payment by bank transfer; late entries on the day until 30 minutes before the start; entrants may have to provide a medical certificate at registration

Entry fees: 26 euros (until 22 Oct 2011), 36 euros (late entries on the day); the entry fees include 5 euros deposit for the timing chip (fully refundable) and 1 euro for charity

Race centre: at the start in Laives

You get: finisher towel; bus service before and after the race

Prizes: prize money to the first 3 M/F, to the first M/F at the 8.6km-mark, and to the best 3 teams (5 runners); prize money for a new course record

Showers and changing facilities: changing rooms at the start (football stadium) and showers at the finish in Bronzolo (sports hall)
