9th Palmanova Half Marathon 2011
Palmanova (Italy), Sunday 20 November 2011
With over 2300 finishers last year, and a very flat and fast course, the Palmanova Half Marathon is one of the top running events in the north-east of Italy.
The race is hugely popular with runners from neighbouring Slovenia.
Strangely enough, only runners from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and from the Austrian province of Carinthia are allowed to take part in the event. Athletes from other countries and regions are excluded — a policy which is, of course, unacceptable to the international running community.
Run International aims at bringing runners together, wherever they come from.
