Participants in the Visoški tek in Slovenia run 9.5km out and back the lovely Poljane Valley (Poljanska dolina), mostly on dirt roads and trails. Approximately 2km are on asphalt roads. The route is mildly undulating.

The start and finish are at the castle of Visoko pri Poljanah, located 10km from the picturesque old town of Škofja Loka, and about 30km from Ljubljana.

In 2010, the winners were Tone Kosmač (31.28) and Valerija Mrak (37:52).
