27th Pécs-Harkány Run 2011

This 25km road race in southern Hungary is a classic in the Hungarian race calendar. Last year, around 700 took part in the event, which is open to individual runners and 3-person relay teams.

The route runs from the historic city of Pécs along an undulating country road to the spa town of Harkány, which is very close to the Croatian border. The course is not closed to traffic.

After the race, all participants get free entry to Harkány's thermal spa with its large indoor and outdoor pools, before a bus takes them back to Pécs.

In 2010, the winners were Barnabás Bene (1:20:19) and Judit Nagy (1:35:12).
